Overview: Immerse yourself in a full day of indoor on field and off field soccer training with these camps taking place on PD days throughout the 2021-22 school year. Joel MacDonald, Technical Director for the Eliot River Ramblers, and a special guest coach, will put players through their paces at this full day event. Featuring 5 hours of on field training, the focus will be on players’ decision making skills. On the field, players will work in offensive and defensive game-like situations aimed to help them make more successful decisions. In the classroom, players will learn about the types of choices that are within their control that can help them excel in soccer, at school and with their friends and family.
Stretch Soccer is a performance program as opposed to a participation program. What that means is that players do not have to be of the highest ability level for their age but they do need to enjoy training, working hard, concentrating and being coached. Players that choose Stretch Soccer programming should want to be the best they can be. Expectations of players will be high and they will be pushed to meet those standards over the entire day.
